Server is designed to extend traditional PABX systems,
providing DID (Direct Inward Dialing) scripting, operator
transfer, and voice mail service with password protection,
reducing the need for traditional operators. |
|
This system improves efficiency through automated routing
and validation of internal extension calls, using friendly
audio prompts at each stage of the call. The system is
currently implemented with bilingual support for English or
Romanian and can be configured to support other languages as
well. The voice mail service automatically detects new
messages and notifies the related extensions. The system can
be extended to unified messaging with support for fax and
e-mail as well. |
|
|
Voice mail boxes can be personalized by their owners with
personal greetings, prompts, and passwords. |

A real-time status interface offers the feature to supervise
the functionality and task for each channel (Fig.1).
The interface provides two feedback variants:
brief or full with a lot of technical info about the status
of the channel. The application is scalable being able to
support any number of hardware channels (digital/analog),
without disturbing normal lines functionality. |

The operators are handy to use through a simple dialog
interface (Fig.2).

The system keeps track of all calls in a special AUDIT table
inside an Access 97 database. Records may be viewed through
a general report window (Fig.3).
