Our Voice Mail Product is based on our TeleConstruct IVR
Platform which enables a wide variety of IVR "applications"
to be Deployed on a singe server. Depending on the ANI or
DNIS a different application will be run.
As an overview to the Voice Mail System we present the
simple users guide.

The Mail Box Manager

The mail Box administrator is used to set up, delete, or
modify user accounts on the fly. System traffic may be
audited or archived and all messages can be purged.
The Mail Box Section

By clicking on the mailbox section, you will open an
interface that is used to create, modify, or delete accounts
(Mail Boxes).
Creating an individual account.
To set up an individual account simply enter the mail box
number in the text box labeled “Box No:”, enter a 4 digit
PIN (Personal Identification Number) the default is 1234 but
one should be entered in any case, and finally the users
name on the account. Click the add button and the account
will appear in the accounts window.
Creating multiple accounts
Multiple accounts can be created using an ASCII comma
delimited file in a simple “BoxNumber”, ”Name” format such
as:
“7275551212”,”John Doe”
“5553334455”,”Fred Astair”
“4442224545”,”Patsy Cline”
and so on. Simply click on the browse button
and
select the file that you wish to import. Press import and
the system will create the accounts automatically and assign
them a default PIN of 1234. It is imperative that the phone
numbers have NO non-numeric characters (i.e. (-)) and
the names have NO apostrophes. These conditions will
effect the import process and could cause some accounts not
to be created.
Modifying account information.
From time to time you may wish to modify and account number
or change a PIN for a user who has forgotten theirs. This
can be easily done by selecting the account from the
accounts window. The account information will populate the
appropriate text boxes below. Change whatever information
you need and press the MODIFY button. Your changes will be
updated immediately.
Deleting an Account
To remove an account from the system simply select the
desired mailbox in the account window and press the delete
key. The account will be removed immediately.
The Audit Section (Traffic)

The Audit section allows a supervisor to view and archive a
simple system traffic report through an easy user interface.
The interface will have important call information such as:
DNIS
The last 4 digits of the number Called (Dialed Number
Information Service).
ANI
The telephone number of the caller (Answered Number
Information).
ID
The system ID for the account
Box Number
The Mail Box number accessed.
Start Moment
The time the call began.
End Moment
The time the call was completed.
Duration
The total length of the call.
Channel
The digital T1 Channel that the call arrived on.
The total number of calls since the last time archived will
also be displayed in the “Calls No:” box.
Archiving Traffic
To archive the traffic information and view only new calls,
simply press the archive button and all previous information
will be cleared (archived) and only new calls will be shown.
The Message Purge Section
This section is for routine maintenance to purge all
messages from the system. When you press this you are
prompted with a message box, “Are You Sure ?”. Pressing yes
will delete all previous messages. Pressing no will simply
close the window.
Sample Letter For Clients
Dear,
Thank you for choosing the Voice Mail System. We are sure
that you will enjoy the benefits of having your messages at
your finger tips.
Setting up your voice mail account is an easy step process.
1.
Call into the system at 1-800-470-9060. When you here
the prompt “Please enter a valid 10 digit mail box number”
enter the number where we initially contacted you beginning
with the area code.
2.
You will our system greeting, “Please leave your message
after the tone”.
During this prompt simply press the pound (#) key.
3.
The system will prompt you for your Personal
identification number which is 1234.
4.
At this point the system will allow you’re to press 1
to play your messages, 2 to change your personal greeting,
or 3 to change your Personal Identification number (PIN).
5.
Change you’re Pin first as this is your access code
to your mail box and then personalize your greeting.
That’s it!
Your personal voice mailbox is set up and ready to take your
messages.
